Massachusetts: CCA Home Care and Home Health Providers Must Submit their Attestation to Receive Increased Funding

An important notice from the Massachusetts Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) Contracting Department:

CCA is following the guidance issued on January 22, 2021, by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, for dates of service January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021, with respect to rate increases for Personal Care, Homemaker, and Home Health Aide Services for Senior Care Options (SCO) members.

Agency providers are required to complete the attestation linked below in order to receive the supplemental rates appropriated through the FY21 General Appropriations Act or the FY20 Supplemental Budget. Entities that are required to complete this attestation include:

  • Agency providers that deliver Homemaker, Personal Care, and Home Health Aide services in the EOEA Home Care, MassHealth State Plan Home Health, and MassHealth ABI/MFP Waiver programs; and
  • Agency providers that deliver Supportive Home Care Aide services in the EOEA Home Care program.

The official due date to submit an attestation, Friday, March 12th, has already passed. Providers who have not submitted the attestation, will need to do so as soon as possible. Please note: the attestation should only be submitted once, even if you are contracted with multiple delivery systems.
